The Corporate Years: 25 Years of Masking

For over two decades, I was an Account Manager in food service and advertising.

Six years at Canpages—the scrappy competitor to Yellow Pages—hustling sales, managing clients, chasing quotas that never felt like enough.

I was good at my job. Really good. But I was dying inside.

I didn't know it at the time, but I had ADHD.

And I was spending every ounce of energy masking it. Compensating for it. Pretending I wasn't drowning.

The hyperfocus that made me brilliant at closing deals also made me burn out spectacularly.

The sensitivity that helped me read clients made me absorb every toxic interaction like it was my personal failure.

The creativity that helped me think outside the box also made me feel like I didn't fit in one.

I was so lost. So negative. So dark.

I felt rejected by everyone and everything—my colleagues, my relationships, even myself.

From Burnout

to Blueprint

How I Left Corporate After 25 Years—And How You Can Too

I spent 25 years climbing the corporate ladder with undiagnosed ADHD.

It almost killed me. Now I help burnt-out corporate women (especially neurodivergent ones) exit with strategy, not scrambling.

And build soul-led businesses that work WITH their brains, not against them.

When the body says no

The Breaking Point: When Your Body Says No

At 41, I tried to end my life. Twice. Pills and booze. Not because I wanted to die, but because I didn't know how to keep living the way I was living.

It wasn't one dramatic moment. It was a cumulation. Years of:

  • Ignoring my intuition that screamed "this isn't right"

  • Pushing through when my body begged me to stop

  • Sacrificing my soul for a paycheck

  • Believing the lie that I was "too sensitive" for the real world

That's what corporate does to neurodivergent women. It tells us we're broken. That we need to work harder. Be tougher. Stop being "so emotional." So we mask. We people-please. We burn ourselves to the ground trying to prove we're good enough. And then our bodies make the decision for us.

The ADHD Diagnosis That Changed Everything

At 52, after I'd already left corporate, I was diagnosed with ADHD.

My baby sister had just been diagnosed, and something clicked. I finally got tested.

Everything made sense. The "scattered" thinking? ADHD.
The hyperfocus that made me brilliant one day and useless the next? ADHD. The emotional intensity everyone said was "too much"? ADHD. The rejection sensitivity that made every critical email feel like a personal attack? ADHD.

Finally, I had something to work with.

Not an excuse. An explanation.

And more importantly—a blueprint for building a life that works WITH my brain, not against it.

The Exit: December 2017

The Exit: December 2017 *

In 2017, I left corporate for good. No safety net. No business plan. No idea what came next.

Just a bone-deep knowing that I couldn't stay in that world anymore.

And here's what I learned: Leaving corporate isn't the hard part.

The hard part is:

  • Unlearning the belief that your worth is tied to your productivity

  • Rebuilding your identity outside of your job title

  • Trusting yourself after decades of being told you're "too much" or "not enough"

  • Creating a business model that doesn't replicate the toxic systems you just left

Especially when you have ADHD.

Because the advice that works for neurotypical entrepreneurs? It doesn't work for us.

"Just batch your content!" (Our brains don't work that way.)
"Build consistent routines!" (We need novelty to function.)
"Focus on one thing!" (Our genius IS in connecting multiple things.)

The Spiritual Side: Yes, I’m also a medium

I talk to dead people. I do energy healing. I help people develop their intuition.

But that's not what brought you to this page.

You're here because you're burnt out. Because corporate is killing you. Because you're wondering if there's another way.

The spiritual work? It's part of the process.

Because leaving corporate isn't just a practical decision, it's a SOUL decision.

Your intuition has been whispering (or screaming) at you for years: "This isn't right. This isn't you. There's another path."

And I help you learn to trust that voice. To follow it. To build from it.

The spiritual stuff grounds the strategy. The strategy makes the spiritual real.

That's the magic.

The Truth About Leaving Corporate with ADHD

Here's what no one tells you: Leaving corporate won't fix your ADHD.

You'll still hyperfocus and lose track of time.
You'll still struggle with "simple" tasks that feel impossible.
You'll still have days where your brain feels like static.

But here's what DOES change: You get to design your life around your brain, not against it.

You get to:

  • Work in bursts of hyperfocus instead of forcing 8-hour days

  • Rest when you need to without guilt

  • Build systems that work for YOU, not for neurotypical productivity culture

  • Show up as your whole self, sensitivity, intensity, and all

You get to stop masking. And that? That changes everything.

And I'm here to tell you: There IS another way.

You don't have to stay in corporate until it breaks you.

You don't have to replicate toxic systems in your own business.

You just need a strategy. And someone who gets it
